Primary Job Responsibilities :

  • Lead analysis for greenfield and project acquisition due diligence

  • Recommend a portfolio investment strategy for the region (US and Mexico) for solar, wind, natural gas generation, and energy storage projects.

  • Develop, in association with other team members, project level budgets and timelines.

  • Conduct pre-construction energy assessments including loss and uncertainty analysis and associated reporting

  • Review, analyze, and offer Value Analysis/Value Engineering to project specifications and requirements.

  • Responsible for identifying, communicating the project risks and mitigation strategies to a multi-disciplinary team

  • Represent the Company in front of customers and other stakeholders as the senior expert on technologies

  • Develop programs to successfully integrate third party technical skills and capabilities into our business and project execution activities to ensure project execution is fast, simple, and efficient

Education, Qualifications and Expertise :

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, significant commercial experience or additional graduate level business education a plus

  • Excellent understanding of Renewable Energy

  • Successful track record analyzing investments in renewable energy projects

  • 10 + years of full time work experience in Energy Sector

  • Desired knowledge of industry best practices in the construction and operation of renewable energy facilitates

  • Experience and understanding of natural gas facility operations

  • Ability to effectively present complex engineering topics in simple terms, including to investors not familiar with the industry

  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously under tight timelines

  • A high level of intellectual, professional and interpersonal agility and flexibility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
