Job Description

The Water Technologies and Solutions, Analytical Instruments product line business has an opportunity for a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor in Boulder, CO. This is an on-site position that requires 5 days in-office. Position Purpose Based in Boulder, CO, the Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor will lead the Boulder warehouse operations and have direct supervision of 8 to 10 warehouse team members. The focus of this position will be coordinating the shipping, receiving and material handling of the Boulder facility and providing leadership to the team in safety, quality, and delivery. This is a fast-paced job where communication with key stakeholders is essential to succes Key Characteristics: Ability to provide leadership and direction to team members Team player, demonstrated proactive and self-starter behavior Ability to communicate information and data efficiently and effectively (verbal and written) Customer service and results oriented High sense of urgency and able to work under pressure Duties & Responsibilities: Provide team leadership for all warehouse team members and oversee the warehousing and material handling functions. Prepares and distributes operational reports and KPI performance reports. Explain results and recommend necessary changes. Handle inquiries related to shipping status, tracking shipments, proofs of delivery, shipping etc. Resolve freight claims; investigate shipment errors and service provider's service issues. Develop procedures and documentation for warehouse processes. Ensures continuous process improvement of those processes to optimize workflow, customer satisfaction / on time delivery, space utilization, and labor productivity. Partner with the Boulder Inventory Team on cycle counts, root cause analysis, and materials strategy for the Boulder site. Provide leadership of warehouse counting during site physical inventory. Partner with WTS Logistic Team to optimize cost and delivery. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be able to perform all warehouse jobs including: Receiving, Picking, Replenishments, Packing, Palletizing, Operate PIT, and Shipping. Working knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing and distribution methods. Understanding of state, federal, and interstate commerce regulations. Understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements. Knowledge and experience with Logistics practices and Import/Export compliance. Advance computer skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, MRP/ERP (preferably SAP).

Qualifications

Core Qualifications Required: High School Diploma/GED Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations, supply chain logistics, transportation, operations, or related experience. Additional education/ degrees may be substituted for experience.
