Oracle Business Practices Analyst in BUCHAREST, Romania

Job Description

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes. Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures. The RGBU is Oracle’s retail industry-specific business unit ( www.oracle.com/industries/retail ), selling solutions that manage the essential functions of retailers such as inventory, pricing, and replenishment of merchandise. The RGBU is a vertically integrated organization, developing, selling and servicing these solutions globally. The License Sales Operations group supports the RGBU’s License, SaaS, and HW sales efforts globally.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the license sales teams to put together documentation to facilitate deals approvals. This includes: Reviewing, editing (and drafting, when necessary) DAS submissions for SW, HW, & SaaS transactions, reviewing customer red lines & requests to understand where approvals are required by comparing against Oracle standard documents, and other activities as necessary to prepare approvals.

• Work with Tier 3 approvers to determine acceptable terms and decide on deal strategy.

• Work closely with RGBU sales as part of their extended team – become a trusted support function for their business success.

• Ensuring consistency of processes globally for the teams and helping to localize where necessary

• Monitor changes to Oracle policies and practices and prepare reference material to distribute to RGBU Org.

• Support sales enablement efforts related to business practices, specific topic training sessions, on-boarding of new sales reps.

Qualifications / Experience

• Two plus years of relevant experience

• Contract drafting experience and/or experience working with legal documents and complex concepts

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Willingness to take ownership of issues, and the ability to resolve them independently and creatively

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

• Patient, cooperative, and collaborative personality

• Strong ethics

• French, German or Spanish language skills a plus.

• BA/BS degree or equivalent
