How will you make an impact in this role?

This role will be responsible to coordinate new insurance strategies among teams, according to business growth priorities, short & medium term goals to make sure plans are executed efficiently and correctly aligned within different areas. Incumbent will oversee business plan and lead cross-functional launches, developments, capabilities, specific campaigns and/or new opportunities and set correct timelines, activities and specific plan to assure on time implementations.

The role requires full business understanding from all points of view as market trends, product construct, sales channel inputs and requirements, operational processes and customer experience to guarantee an end-to-end overview for all projects and roadmap. Role requires excellent project management skills, great organization, aptitude for process innovation, proactive approach, fostering collaboration, influence key stakeholders, improved communication and presentation skills for management sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive portfolio management activities for México Insurance Business.

  • Create and deliver cross-functional level communications regarding ongoing priorities, status and key decisions requiring alignment.

  • Lead with efficient perspective business partners and stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, refined scope, shape deliverables and assess next steps for implementation.

  • Partner with Insurance team: planning, marketing & product, digital, customer experience and others to maintain robust plans and roadmaps to ensure timely launch.

  • Develop comprehensive work plans, including determining scopes, developing schedules that accurately reflect scope of work, with specific focus on efficiencies and timely deliverables.

  • Consistently sets clear expectations with the team for their role in delivering to the project regarding tasks and deliverables - can delegate appropriately and successfully.

  • Has demonstrated ability to lead discussions on project plans to ensure understands tradeoffs.

  • Communicate scope change, resourcing and financial implications to Senior Management in a clear and timely manner.

  • Identify gaps in project plans and educate the team on finding closure.

  • Negotiate conflict and manage differences of opinion and communicate with difficult team members effectively.

  • Strong team builder, cross-capability teams, clarifying roles and expectations.

  • Has the ability and skill to challenge time estimates and fundamentally understands level of effort on difficult and intangible tasks.

  • Maintain positive demeanor and “can do” attitude

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of proven project management experience.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to influence, challenge status quo and communicate clearly.

  • Able to thrive in undefined, complex project spaces.

  • Proven success in creating structure and high attention to detail.

  • Strong results-orientation, resourcefulness, and flexibility to overcome obstacles to goal achievement.

  • Quick learner and great teammate.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with proven success in partnering with other business units.

  • Solid track record for successfully developing project plans from start to completion, on time and budget.

  • Leads an effective and efficient discussions, ensuring agenda stays on track and adequate decisions are made.

  • Exhibits strong listening skills and tactfully communicates position on relevant issues.

  • Demonstrates ability to define and implement professional standards for team participation, conflict resolution, problem solving, and communication (internal and external)

  • Thinks clearly and diplomatically when participating in complex and sensitive discussion with internal teams.

  • Demonstrates professional presentation, excellent communication skills regarding workflow steps and processes.

  • Strong organizational, and follow-up skills.

  • Accountability, flexibility and strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

  • Effective negotiation and conflict management/risk mitigation skills.

  • Confident problem solver – willingness to have difficult conversations with positive outcome. Serve as a positive influence across peer teams.

  • Strong team builder across agency teams, clarifying roles and expectations.
