This position within the Infotainment team works closely with Ford global cross functional teams, local cross functional teams and manufacturing plant teams to apply the Connectivity and Infotainment components/modules skillset to vehicles developed in the IMG Region.

1. Total Value Management (TVM) coordinator for the VHM5 Connectivity Audio/Infotainment/Cluster Design and releasing engineering. Run smaller projects and manage metrics and progress.

2. Provide process and technical support to ensure that the proper CRID process and engineering disciplines are used to ensure robust TVM project delivery that avoids the introduction of field quality issues through cost reduction action.

3. Design and develop IVI (In Vehicle Infotainment) systems to meet or exceed system & vehicle attribute targets where applicable.

4. Work with wider team on cost reduction idea generation activities (teardown, benchmarking, and ideas from Ford), idea triaging and adoption.

5. Strong co-ordination competencies, be pro-active and self-driven.

6. Ability to lead and work with a cross functional team.

7. Ability to lead/motivate people from different cultures and background.

8. Demonstrated focus on driving for results.

9. Exposure to the Automobile Product Development System or system design engineering principles.

10. Bachelor’s degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology or any other discipline with relevant experience.
