Kaizen Approach, Inc Senior Scheduler in Columbia, Maryland

Are you mission focused and ready to be with a team that truly values your contributions? We are currently seeking an experienced Scheduler professional to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining detailed schedules for various systems, collaborating with teams to ensure these schedules are accurate and current. The individual utilizes automated tools like MS Project or Primavera to create and adjust project timelines, integrating them into a comprehensive Master Program Schedule. They are responsible for linking individual project schedules with larger program goals, investment portfolios, and other Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), ensuring alignment and tracking progress. By developing layered schedules and IMPs, they monitor the advancement of acquisition projects and their contribution to broader objectives.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to define and implement schedule software (MS Project, Primavera, or specific program mandated software, etc.) management processes and procedures

  • Must have the ability to implement schedule version control processes, policies and procedures

  • Experienced in maintaining and developing the environment for the overall Master Program/Project Schedule and or the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Scheduler in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

  • Shall have one (1) year of demonstrated experience managing a schedule for an engineering program involving hardware and software development and multiple subcomponents. Experience may include: successful completion of an advanced level MS Project or Primavera course and demonstrated experience with MS Project and or Primavera

  • Certification for the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) and or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification are desired

  • Associate’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR Four (4) years of scheduling experience

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
