Description

Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a client in Corvallis, OR. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of HR for the company's Corvallis location. The role reports to the VP of Finance and has a dotted line to corporate HR at their sister company in CA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and standardize position descriptions, categorizing them for easy reference

• Build and implement an efficient employment review process

• Actively participate in the recruitment process, assisting in the growth of the organization

• Provide guidance and support to both new and tenured managers to ensure compliance with HR processes

• Handle employee relations, offering excellent internal customer service and effective interpersonal communication

• Participate in open enrollment processes and administer benefits for employees

• Stay up-to-date with Oregon paid leave laws and ensure the organization's compliance

• Investigate and resolve any issues relating to employee relations

• Drive process improvement initiatives within the HR function.

Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Benefit Functions, including plan implementation and management

• Proven experience in Compliance, ensuring company policies align with federal and state laws

• Skilled in conducting Employee Relations Investigations to resolve internal conflicts and maintain a positive work environment

• Familiarity with Benefits Administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits

• Experience in Employee Relations, fostering a positive relationship between employees and management

• Proficiency in Process Improvement, identifying areas of improvement to increase efficiency and productivity

• Ability to Develop Job Descriptions that accurately reflect the responsibilities and qualifications of each role.
