JOB SUMMARY

As a Financial Analyst at CityVet within our Finance department, you will play a significant role in our financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

· Assist in developing and maintaining annual budgets and periodic forecasts for De Novo projects

· Collaborate cross-functionally to gather relevant financial data for planning purposes.

· Support the creation of financial models to facilitate forecasting and scenario analysis.

· Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results with budgeted/forecasted figures.

· Provide insights into key financial drivers and trends to aid management's understanding of performance.

· Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.

· Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to key stakeholders.

· Assist in crafting management presentations summarizing financial performance and key metrics.

· Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports and statements.

· Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

· Assist in developing streamlined processes for data collection and reporting.

· Fulfill ad hoc requests for financial information and analysis from management.

· Execute special projects and financial studies as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to interpret negotiated agreements

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

· Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

· Relevant internship or academic projects focused on financial analysis or FP&A.

· Familiarity with financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

· Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
