Eaton Corporation Quality Auditor in Euclid, Ohio

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is currently seeking a Quality Auditor.This position is an onsite role, and is located at our Euclid, OH facility. The Euclid facility has approximately 325 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace main engine fuel pumps and components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

This position will provide auditing support of FSD-Euclid’s Quality System and Certified Operator Program to ensure compliance.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform audits of Certified Operators to monitor and maintain the Certified Operator / Inspector program.

  • Maintain documentation regarding the Certified Operator / Inspector program.

  • Provide documented on-the-job training to Certified Operators / inspectors, when required.

  • Perform audits to ensure system compliance to AS9100, EQS, and other quality requirements.

  • Operator and Special Process stamp control and issuance, etc.

  • Support continuous improvement activities, including Lean initiatives

  • Support scrap reduction initiatives

  • Perform product audits

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a quality position within a manufacturing environment

  • 1+ year of experience auditing shop floor operators

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility listed will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Trained in AS9100 quality system auditing

  • Working knowledge in aerospace quality processes

  • Working Knowledge of drawings and specifications interpretation

  • Working knowledge in functional measuring equipment usage.

Additional Information:

Working with the site Quality Manger the preferred candidate will be expected to review and make recommend changes to the Certified Operator program to make the overall program more efficient and effective.

Position Criteria:

  • Knowledge of aerospace product, manufacturing processes and inspection techniques.

  • Knowledge of the latest ANSI Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications per ASME Y14.5M.

  • Knowledge of machining, assembly & test operations, gauging, SPC tools.

  • Experienced with AS9100 Quality System and product/process auditing techniques.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects/activities.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experienced in Microsoft computer applications.

  • Must exhibit a high level of motivation, sense of urgency, and energetic approach to job duties and requirements.
