Make a difference - Find meaning - Lead - Collaborate - Grow -  Have a voice - Laugh - Love your team

Tribute Home Care is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Director to lead the expansion of our Northern Virginia office.

If you are an entrepreneurially-minded Registered Nurse leader who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve and motivated to build and offer a new service in Northern Virginia, we would love to hear from you!

About Tribute

Tribute Home Care is a growing private home care company that offers people who need assistance in the home what they want above all else: consistently great caregivers and great service. We do this by hiring only those caregivers who can build real connections with their clients and by offering them the community of support and recognition they deserve.

Major Areas of Responsibility

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in positioning Tribute as the leading provider of home care service in the Northern Virginia market.

Your journey will begin with a comprehensive 6-month orientation, offering firsthand experience across various departments at Tribute. You will collaborate with key leaders to learn our business operations and gain in depth understanding of the unique difference our service offers, and how our mission and values are at the root of all that we do.

Once you complete your orientation, your responsibilities and focus will include:

  • Offering Tribute's clients an unsurpassed service experience, through setting up and completing in-person nursing assessments, formulating client care plans, and helping match Caregivers with clients

  • Collaborating with marketing and sales to develop strong referral relationships

  • Collaborating with Tribute's caregiver recruiting and caregiver support teams to build a community of the finest caregivers, unsurpassed for warmth, professionalism and reliability

  • Developing and leading a high-performance administrative team devoted to Tribute's mission and values

  • Hitting revenue and operating profit objectives

  • Ensuring full compliance with all state and local regulations

During orientation, this role will involve 2-3 trips to our Framingham, Massachusetts office, and travel to our Baltimore, Maryland office once a month. After orientation, this role will involve regular travel in Northern Virginia to meet with clients, caregivers, and community partners.

    Qualifications and Experience

Candidates do not need to be an expert in home care. Your orientation will provide extensive, hands-on training before you begin to take on leadership responsibilities.

However, candidates will need the right set of experience and skills to enter this training program and ultimately lead our growth in Northern Virginia. Here is what we think that is:

    Education and Experience:

  • A degree in Nursing from an accredited college

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia

  • 5+ years of experience, including previous leadership experience

  • A background of success and a history of achieving goals

  • A career of increasing responsibility

    Skills and Qualifications:

  • A compelling reason for pursuing this opportunity, and a genuine enthusiasm for this work

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • A commitment to personal and professional growth

  • The ability to work with and through others

  • The ability to think critically, get to the right answer, and be a thought partner

  • An entrepreneurial spirit: perseverance, grit, and a willingness to take risks

  • A growth mindset, driven to build community relationships and grow Tribute's business

  • An eagerness to lead and plenty of energy in reserve to devote to achievement

  • A readiness to make a difference, take on challenges and push through obstacles

  • Vaccination against COVID-19. We comply with the EEOC by providing the ability to request an exemption based on medical or religious reasons

    Benefits of working at Tribute

  • Strong, mission-driven culture

  • Opportunities for growth

  • Fun, collaborative, and supportive team that you will love working with
