Trinity Health Nurse Practitioner, Nuclear Medicine - Extra on Call, Days in Fresno, California

Description:

Reporting to the Director Telemetry & Cardiovascular Services, Nursing Service Admin, this position is responsible for the oversight and nursing performance of all Nuclear Medicine cardiac stress and rest tests. Oversight of the functions and duties of this role will be provided by the designated MD. This position will also perform any needed RN duties within the Nuclear Medicine department.

  1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California is required.

  2. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the State of California is required.

  3. Successful completion of SAMC Medical Staff credentialing process within sixty (60) days of hire is preferred. Allied Health Professional Staff membership maintenance and meeting requirements for focused and ongoing professional performance evaluation, as defined in the Allied Health Professional Policy & Procedures Manual, is preferred.

  4. Additional preparation and skills in physical diagnosis, psycho-social assessment, and management of health/illness needs in primary health care by completion of a program conforming to the California Board of Registered Nursing standards as specified in California Code of Regulations (CCR) 14814 Standards of Education is required.

  5. Master's Degree in Nursing or related clinical field is required.

  6. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

  7. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.

  8. Strong time management skills and effective oral and written communication skills are required.

  9. Previous experience working with Nuclear cardiac stress procedures is preferred.

Pay Range:

$68.27 - 98.99
