Making it a success for yourself and Volvo Energy

Volvo Energy acts as a catalyst to help achieve the desired future of the Volvo Group. Our business area is new and we value curiosity for new technologies, tools, and ways of working, and always strive to take it to the next level. However, we understand that venturing into the unknown takes time, and mistakes may occur. We see these mistakes as opportunities for learning. We believe that the journey itself is an excellent way to build knowledge and competence and to develop our strategy and success.

Being part of Battery Industrialization & Logistics

Battery Industrialization and Logistics (I&L) is a function within Volvo Energy that takes care of the second life of the batteries from an industrial and logistics perspective. Having circularity in our DNA, our responsibility starts when collecting the batteries at the dealers, goes through circular operations (refurbishing, remanufacturing, repurposing), and ends up with recycling.

Working in close collaboration with our GTX colleagues (Group Trucks Operations, Purchasing, and Technology) and our colleagues for the BAs, we are leading the strategic work and constantly updating it to match the business situation and the best practices of the industry. We orchestrate the work between functions and maintain relevant internal services and appropriate external partnerships to fulfill our mission. We communicate broadly to secure proper knowledge, involvement, and recognition of our colleagues and counterparts. We also monitor and optimize both the operational and environmental performances of our logistics and industrial systems.
