  • Partner with the Benefits Team Lead to administer the AES Global Benefits program including: medical, dental, vision, group life, disability, wellness, and leave of absence programs

  • Participate in and actively contribute in benefit plan design and annual benefit plan renewal discussions with internal resources and external consultants and vendors

  • Work with benefits administrator and carriers to resolve issues

  • Maintain up-to-date plan documents

  • Participate in the management of open enrollment activities

  • Reconcile and process benefit invoices for payment

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding AES’ Health and Welfare Program

  • Partner with Benefits Team Lead to ensure that AES’ benefits programs are administered in compliance with applicable laws

Skills & Abilities

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university strongly preferred.

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in employee benefits administration

  • Self-insured benefits program administration experience preferred

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of benefit laws and regulations including ACA requirements, ERISA, and Section 125 Cafeteria Plans

  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing tasks and meeting numerous internal and external deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with Workday and Benefitsolver is a plus
