Our Scientific Oversight team is a hardworking and diverse group looking for an individual experienced in bioinformatics interested in tapping into their expertise to bring the needed capabilities to conduct research using bioinformatics theory and methods in areas such as pharmaceuticals, medical technology, biotechnology, computational biology, proteomics, computer information science, and biology. Our team works with ADME project leaders and assay experts to address the rapidly evolving challenges teams face. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated scientist to join our fast-paced, interdisciplinary team. You may need to design databases and develop algorithms for processing and analyzing biological information.

ADME Key Responsibilities:

  • Take an active role in interacting with the platform teams.

  • Lead the development cycles where they are pressing for deployment dates and confirming with all involved partners (business side representation, developers, platform team) what is needed to move forward.

  • Provide informatics support to ADME when required; networking of equipment, installation of software, troubleshooting of equipment and internal and external systems

  • Create novel computational approaches and analytical tools as required by research goals.

  • Maintain and improve the structure of internal collaboration sites like MS Teams and Sharepoint

  • Lead constant process improvements through the use of tools/apps/automation.

  • Recommend new systems and processes to improve operations.

  • Develop software or applications for scientific or technical use.

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions to optimize workflows and processes

  • Using software tools to streamline workflows and automate report generation

  • Maintain, update, and expand digital solutions to drive efficient workflows

Minimum Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in biology and/or bioinformatics or related field

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

Additional Preferences

  • Computer programming experience which enables efficient analysis of large data files and data visualization

  • Familiarity with related systems and applications (LIMS, eLN, instrument software, IBM BPM tool, Salesforce, Sharepoint, MS Teams)

  • Excellent experimental design skills; scientific approach to problem solving; method development, validation and sample analyses

  • Experience with some, if not all modalities, including small molecules, oligonucleotides, peptides, biologics, and gene therapies across analytical platforms (e.g., ligand binding, LC-MS, PCR).

  • Experience in a regulated (e.g. GLP, GCP, GMP, etc.) environment

  • Familiarity with the structure of data files from pre-clinical and clinical trials

  • Knowledge of bioanalytical and other drug disposition assays and data structure of results

  • Previous work experience in ADME

  • Operations experience (financial, project management, etc.)
