Description

Jacksonville-based client is seeking a 4+ year HR Generalist to support a large distribution organization. You will be responsible for Human resources-related duties, including new hire onboarding, employee relations, training, policy administration, HRIS, and employee communication.

Essential Functions:

• Manages the consistent administration of human resources policies and practices.

• Oversees hourly hiring process for assigned facility.

• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with leadership and employees to coordinate human resources actions, communicate information, and address any employee issues.

• Conducts investigations to effectively resolve employee grievances.

• Facilitates training, including new hire orientation, with employees.

• Maintains data integrity in personnel files and HRIS system.

• Coordinates programs and events such as employee recognition and employee appreciation.

• Ensures that employee records are accurate, complete, and legally compliant.

• Supports goals and objectives of the HR Department on a corporate, regional and local level.

• Assists with corporate reporting needs.

• Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field

• 4+ years of relevant experience required

• Must be able to travel (< 25%)

• Proficient in MS Office Suite
