Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the Government sector, located in Jupiter, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable processes, handling invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes

• Handle and process invoices accurately and efficiently

• Reconcile accounts on a regular basis

• Ensure timely payments by monitoring customer credit accounts

• Resolve customer credit inquiries as they arise

• Utilize accounting software for efficient and accurate data entry

• Monitor and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Employ strong organizational skills to maintain accurate customer credit records

• Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP as necessary for job functions

• Handle cash applications and commercial collections as required. Requirements • Must have experience in the government sector

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledgeable in Billing processes

• Experience in Cash Applications

• Understanding of Cash Collections

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Must have experience with Oracle

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software

• Experience with SAP is required

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage

• Must adhere to all government regulations and policies.
