What You Will Do: Grow sales of ESD lighting, energy and controls products, and services in Inland Empire (Eastern Washington) & Growth Markets. Collaborate with ESD manager, Service Center Managers, and Construction/Industrial Outside Sales personnel to identify lighting retrofit/conservation opportunities. Develop and implement business planning to support the objectives and initiatives of the Energy Solutions Division. Maintain a working knowledge of Utility Incentive/Rebate Programs. Target and grow lighting retrofit/conservation opportunities with identified lighting/electrical contractors. Call on property managers, institutions and building owners to secure lighting retrofit/ conservation opportunities. Qualify opportunities and leads originating from outside sources. Perform lighting and controls retrofit/conservation audits with the Snapcount Auditing Tool. Identify ancillary product opportunities and engage NC associates as required to build a comprehensive, overall solution (i.e. EV Charging, Solar, VFD's, etc.). Effectively create and professionally present conservation proposals in accordance with utility programs and ESD standards . Work with ESD vendor partners to promote state-of-the-art lighting products and technology, grow sales, and achieve performance goals. Post and update projects and opportunities in CRM (Dynamics). Other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring: Three to five years of experience in the electrical industry; lighting and energy related sales experience preferred/required. Ability to negotiate and close opportunities. Working knowledge of existing lighting conditions and lighting retrofit. Knowledge of regional utility incentive programs. Strong communication and marketing skills. Motivated, self-starter, outgoing, team player, with positive attitude. Competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint). Proof of a clean driving record with no major infractions in the past 3-5 years. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Frequent use of smart phone and laptop/ tablet. Frequent travel/driving to territory service centers, project sites, and customer locations around Inland Empire/other assigned Regions. Combination of office and field environments. Salary & Compensation: This position is an exempt position and not subject to overtime. The estimated total compensation range is $60,000-$100,000 annually. Why work for North Coast?
