DESCRIPTION

Under the general supervision of the Preschool Coordinator, the Preschool Instructor Assistant assists the Preschool Instructor in performing the specialized work of the instruction and training of children identified with developmental disabilities. In addition, the Preschool Instructor Assistant will be working with a peer population to integrate the children with developmental disabilities into the traditional educational environment provided by the county's public school systems. At all times, the Preschool Instructor Assistant must strive to meet the UCBDD published Mission Statement and exemplify the UCBDD defined Core Values.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience --

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Educational Aide Certification from the Ohio Department of Education

Other --   Must have reliable transportation. Must maintain a valid State of Ohio Driver's License if operating a personal vehicle for official agency business.
