Description We are in search of a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Medina, Ohio. The successful candidate will be integral in supporting and improving our business applications, with responsibilities spanning various operational areas including operations, scheduling, warehouse, transportation, finance, maintenance, and sales. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of our business applications and requires someone with strong technical skills and a keen understanding of business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert on ERP system configuration capabilities and mapping

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware

• Support business system tools, including related configuration, scripts code, and reports

• Configure workflows to streamline user interaction within multiple different systems

• Understand the core ERP system and supporting software to assist in continued improvement of the system's security and to provide better value to the business

• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems

• Possess a solid understanding of data structures, data relationships, and data concepts of the ERP systems and SQL databases

• Coordinate with multiple departments to discover and provide the best universal solution when able

• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

• Prioritize and manage support calls, help tickets, and change requests in central Help Desk system

• Document changes, enhancements, and procedures within project folders or central Help Desk system

• Support user training needs and remote locations as requested

• Expeditiously troubleshoot and resolve any reported issues coordinating activities so as not to impact production

• Be available to work off shift hours to complete job-related tasks or be on call to support select needs. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Business Systems Analyst role or a similar position.

• Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Access.

• Proficient in SQL Database management.

• Ability to analyze complex business problems and assess how automated systems can be implemented to solve them.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both IT staff and non-IT staff.

• Proven experience in troubleshooting and providing solutions for technical issues.

• Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a team and independently as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
