Maintenance Technician

An establish manufacturing company located in Merrillville, IN is seeking multiple maintenance technicians to join their team. 401k and insurance benefits are offered immediately once hired.

Previous experience in PLC troubleshooting and conveyor maintenance is required.

Description:

• Preventative Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Packaging Equipment, X-ray Machines, Blenders, Mixers, Baggers, Labelers, Ink Jet Coders, and heat shrinking machines

• Electrical troubleshooting and wiring up to 480V motors

• Troubleshooting and repairing Variable Frequency Drives

• Troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC's

• Troubleshooting and using HMI programs

• Mechanical troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Replacing, troubleshooting, and repairing Photo Eyes

• MIG and TIG welding plus fabrication

• Preventative Maintenance

• Using MRP system

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing

• Read and interpret electrical schematics

• 480V wiring

• PLC troubleshooting experience

Environment:

Company is growing rapidly. They have 3 facilities in Northwest Indiana and 1 more that is opening soon. They have acquired 2 companies this year and they are in process of acquiring another company.

Shift: 2nd Shift (3pm - 11:00pm) and 3rd shift (10pm - 6:30am) available
