Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in a remote location in the U.S. This role is instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable and secure software solutions for the financial services industry. As a key contributor to our team, you will leverage your expertise in C# and SQL, as well as API development, to automate and streamline our Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) clearance and settlement processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement highly scalable and secure software solutions to automate MBS clearance and settlement processes

• Utilize a deep understanding of MBS products, including aged trades, to translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Leverage your experience with SQL to manage and query financial data related to MBS transactions

• Develop and maintain C# front-end applications for user interaction with clearance and settlement functionalities

• Integrate with external systems using APIs, file-based transfers, FIX engines, and Swift messaging protocols

• Establish and maintain real-time connections to industry-standard platforms for efficient data exchange

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure successful project deliverables

• Lead and mentor junior developers to foster a strong and collaborative development team

• Participate in audits and ensure adherence to information security best practices

• Assist in planning future development initiatives.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in a Software Developer role or similar

• Proficient in C# - Sharp programming language

• Demonstrable experience with SQL is essential

• Experience in API Development is required

• Must have a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
