Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are looking for a Food Services Specialist to join our team.

Reponsibilities:

· Provides food preparation, meal service and related support services as assigned.

· Prepares foods and beverages according to proper food preparation procedure and standards, including temperature guidelines.

· Responsible for preparing dining room areas, serving lines, counters, stands, and special dining event areas.

· Maintains cafeteria serving lines and replaces and/or refills consumables.

· Responsible for washing and sorting dishes, utensils, linens, and equipment.

· Performs general housekeeping duties in and around the dining facility, kitchen and storage areas.

· Responsible for understanding food preparation terminology, the safe operation of kitchen equipment and tools, and basic cooking and recipe conversion techniques.

· May provide task level guidance to less experienced personnel. May be assigned ordering, inventory, material handling, training and related functions.

· Performs duties in accordance with TB MED 530, Title 29, Code of Federal Regulation Part 1910.1200, DoD 133810-M, and MIL-STD-3006C

Requirements:

· Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.

· High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Minimum of 2 years related experience

Mandatory requirements:

1. Must have a VALID passport

2. Must be willing and ready for international deployment.
