Labcorp HR Manager in Osaka, Japan
Builds strong working relationships, underpinned by trust, credibility and respect with business supervisors
Seeks to understand business strategies and supports development and delivery of short and long-term people strategies and agendas
Supports the development of HR initiatives and priorities
Guide and collaborate with global/APAC HR COE team to develop the people solutions and services to meet business needs
Oversees local implementation of global and standardized HR processes
Supports BU execution of core HR process including Talent Management, Development and Performance
Actively involved in the recruitment, development, growth and retention of talent
Applies consistency and fairness in adherence to regulations, compliance, laws, policies, procedures and issue escalation
Support in the establishment of labor compliance standards and compliance frameworks based on internal policies and local employment law and other regulations
Make recommendations to HR and business leader regarding the development or revisions of existing policies, procedures, or systems to attain high levels of performance and build competitive advantage.
Applies consistency and fairness in adherence to regulations, compliance, laws, policies, procedures and issue escalation.
Advises and counsels managers on performance issues and coaching with the intended goal of growing manager's expertise in this area.
Education/Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in business, human resources or related subject.
HR Certification desired (Health services supervisor (衛生管理者 - “eisei kanri sha”), etc.)
Experiences:
8 years or above HR experience required.
Knowledge of local employment law (Japan Labor Law and others)
Experience in a HR Generalist capacity with working knowledge of Social Insurance, Tax, payroll, benefit, performance management cycles and terminations is preferred.
Experience working for the global organization is preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills both in Japanese and English.
Strong leadership experience
Ability to prioritize and manage issues that are time-sensitive and highly confidential.
Proven customer service focus, organizational skills as well as the partnership to business leaders
