Under direction of the Portsmouth City Health Department's Environmental Health Director, performs duties related to the mosquito control grant to ensure deliverables are met. This will include, but is not limited to: collecting specimens, creating reports, assisting with fogging, and educating the public. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to work well with others, work in harsh weather conditions such as heat, rain, high wind, etc. and be able to operate standard office equipment such as computer, scanner, fax etc. Degree in (or enrolled in) natural science, environmental science, public health or related field or program preferred.
