CCE Engineering team is part of Commerce + Ecosystems responsible for enabling seamless commerce experiences for all customers. CCE Engineering team is responsible for building engineering solutions to enable customers’ (including Consumer & Commercial) scenario, . CST Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer who has a proven track record of driving architecture, technical design, and hands-on experience of delivering enterprise grade technology solutions.

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of Microsoft technology stack and cloud solutions to lead this initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for building products in Engineering platform and solutions and deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our users. CCE team is expanding and is looking for to hire an Engineering Manager to build a grow engineering organization. As a Software Enginner you will tackle various engineering and strategic challenges, utilizing a range of backend (e.g., C#, Azure Service Fabric, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Kubernetes, Microsoft Graph) and frontend technologies (e.g., React, Playwright). Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions.

  • Knowledge of how products and services work, with a history of developing, deploying and evolving products in a dev-ops managed production environment.

  • Carry out quick technology “spikes” (or proofs of concepts, flighting) to create value in new features and service.

  • Working in an agile and collaborative environment, you will interact with many of the other commerce partner teams to build cross service integrations.

  • Clear and effective communication skills, be it when you write code, send emails, or explain complex technical issues to non-technical co-workers.

  • A desire to make things better, whether it be in how we optimize our inner dev loop, how we test our code, or how we can make deployments happen at light speed. You're always looking for ways we can be better as a team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated experience as a software engineer building commercial software and proven track record of shipping successful software products & services.

  • Demonstrated experience designing end user applications that are built using modern web-based technologies Centered around user experience.

  • 2+ years of experience driving, managing technical and architectural dependencies with proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, or equivalent languages/frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in app development using ASP.NET, Azure PaaS services like Web apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub, REST API, SQL and NoSQL.

  • Experience with software development tools such as source control systems (GIT), automated build systems (CICD), software validation systems, project tracking, and lifecycle management systems.

  • Development experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Expertise in REACT, Node.js.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
