Description

Robert Half is recruiting a Corporate Paralegal for a private asset management company in downtown San Francisco (hybrid telecommute; in-office Tues., Wed. & Thurs.; ample other remote work days/weeks throughout the year). This position reports to General Counsel and is responsible for general corporate governance, entity maintenance, commercial real estate transactions, construction financing, and lots of contracts administration and review. This a really unique in-house opportunity to handle a wide variety of transactional legal matters for the many different businesses, real estate and asset holdings, and philanthropic endowments for the office’s ultra-high net worth private clientele.

The qualifications for the Corporate Paralegal position are the following:

· 4+ years transactional paralegal experience with a corporate law practice and/or in-house legal department (ideally in industries such as financial services, commercial real estate, hospitality and luxury retail, etc.);

· Contracts administration experience strongly preferred, including review and some red-lining;

· College degree, or equivalent work experience, and a Paralegal Certificate (or otherwise qualified to perform paralegal work under Calif. Business & Professions Code Sect. 6450 et seq.);

· Notary Public commission is preferred;

· Good office software proficiency, experience in Salesforce, Asana, and WealthHub are plusses;

· Excellent customer service, good communicator, must work well with others, good collaborator, high attention to detail, takes time to verify information, and confident.

Starting salary range is $130,000 – 140,000+/year, plus 15% annual discretionary target bonus. UNBEATABLE employment benefits package includes the following:

Requirements

• Detailed, accurate, and an ability to handle confidential information

• Willing and able to own projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

• 4+ years of relevant transactional law experience

• Should possess a thorough knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets

• General familiarity with Corporate Paralegal work

• Contract administration experience highly desired

• Strong familiarity with corporate governance

• Proven success assisting attorneys

• Corporate law experience required

• Adeptness in commercial contracts law strongly preferred

• Demonstrated knowledge of real estate transfers

• Real estate experience

• Corporate maintenance experience
