Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a high potential Associate Software Engineer in Software Engineering team at Seoul, Korea . As part of Boeing Enterprise Software Products and Capabilities Utilities team this position will support the technical leadership, architecture, development, deployment and certification of cloud based software applications used in the support of commercial aerospace products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Decomposition of software requirements into Tool Operational Requirements

  • Requirement Based Testing generation and execution for requirements

  • Development of Software Design and Implementation

  • Generation of FAA DO-330 certification artifacts including Plans and SW development Lifecycle execution evidence

  • Implementation of problem and change requests against the current baselined software

  • Obtain and maintain fit for use and certification of tool and cloud based production environment

  • Interact with multiple stakeholders across organizations

  • Support Agile SW development method

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

• Demonstrated experience in C, C++, Python, or Java (up to 5+ years)

• Full stack and lifecycle software development experience

• Experience working with and supporting systems with Linux Operating System (OS)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean

• Applicants must have enthusiasm and positive mind-set to learn new challenges and expand his/her skill sets

• Should be an excellent team player

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Strong passion for developing high-quality product

• Highly motivated "roll up your sleeves" attitude with a strong drive for success and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DO-178C/DO-330 certification

  • Experience on Automation and CI/CD techniques and design patterns

  • Experience have with cloud technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, AZURE, or AWS

Typical Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Relocation:

  • Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  • This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
