ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Responsible for producing quality non-woven material in a safe and efficient manner, while meeting company production standards/specifications.
RESULTS EXPECTED:
Responsible for, and understand Kan Ban pull system and create a Goods Issue Slip accordingly
Coordinate daily activities, i.e.: start up, shut down, breaks, assign job responsibilities, and direct/instruct team members
Ensure team members meet production rates, follow schedules, comply/enforce all Safety/OSHA/GMP/FDA/GDP requirements, and ensure all components on the line meet current product quality standards and productivity levels
Maintain all documentation related to the performance of production lines (Production reports, Quality reports, and all other require paperwork, etc.)
Oversee all aspects of line maintenance; make minor repairs, and coordinate major repairs with appropriate personnel
Responsible to see that housekeeping is accomplished and maintained in a 5S level
Provide training/cross training for all Non-Woven jobs and coach team members for improved job performance
Receive/communicate safety/quality/production information before /at end of shift, via team meetings/mini-meetings
Know how to safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks and equipment relative to production line

Perform all other supervisor directed tasks
Must maintain Communication Board on a per shift basis
Maintain a team culture
Perform job performance evaluations
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT :
Ability to perform all operator requirements (refers to Non-Woven Operator job description)
High school diploma or equivalent
Above average mechanical ability
Leadership and team-building skills
Excellent math, reading and communication skills
Knowledge of computer programs: SAP, Microsoft Word/Excel, Microsoft Outlook
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT :
High school diploma or equivalent
Good math, reading, and communication skills
Above average mechanical ability
Leadership and team-building skills
Ability to function within team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be fitted for Respirator and pass all Respirator test requirements
Must be able to work in a hot/humid environment
Must be able to have 20/20 vision corrected
Must be able to hear
Must be able to walk
Must be able to climb up/down frequently
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 55 lbs occasionally
Must be able to enter confined spaces
Must be able to grip/grasp frequently
