If you want to be part of tomorrow's health today, we want to hear from you. The Central Ohio DC is currently seeking a dynamic leader to fill the role of Training Supervisor. From training to problem solving, this position will be an integral part in both launching the career of our employees along with keeping our distribution center running efficiently and smoothly. This position will be responsible for training New Hires (and existing employees) on processes/procedures including Picking, Put Away, Replenishment, Receiving and Out-Bound Shipping. This position will be accountable for delivering top-notch service to our customers while inspiring, motivating and developing non-exempt team members to achieve daily performance standards and metrics. The role of Training Supervisor will function as the subject matter expert (SME) for the delivery of hard and soft skills by demonstrating up-to-date expertise in adult learning theory along with the training of best practices. In addition to introducing new employees to their role/responsibilities and the importance that they will have within the supply chain, this position will provide continued education to all employees regarding our 'Total Rewards' along with all that embodies 'It's not a Package, it's a Patient.' Work Hours: Nightshift - Sunday - Thursday. Must be flexible on hours with occasional weekend and holiday shifts. Shifts are generally 9-10 hours depending on business needs. Key Responsibilities: Onboard, train, manage and mentor non-exemptwarehouse personnel. Aids the DC Coordinator with New Hire Orientation (when required). Provide assessments of employee performance. Provide necessary coaching as it relates to LM Engineering Standards. Collaborates with the Operations Manager and other Supervisors to produce and maintain a training calendar and training records. Assist with reducing employee turnover. Ensure balanced workflow to eliminate operational delays and inefficiencies. Responsible for completion of daily work volumes. Maintaining a positive morale, work standards and developing teams. Assist with controlling expenses. / Assist with reducing overtime working hours. Assertively seek solutions to problems at the root level. Drive quality and process improvement. Assure compliance of all SOP's and Work Instructions by warehouse personnel. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. On-Call rotation for weekend emergency deliveries and monitoring (approximately 4 weekends annually). Minimum Requirements Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities. Critical Requirements Strong employee development, training/coaching experience. Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Thorough knowledge of material handling (including strong Acumax and RF knowledge). Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead individuals, explain/train processes, as well as create and follow through on SOP's. Prior training and/or supervisory experience. Industry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution.
